In an effort to continue promoting safety and wellness for our gymnasts, families, and coaches we have put together some guidelines for post-travel participation at CGA. We understand that the choice to travel is yours, but feel that we must do our part to keep our community as safe and healthy as possible.
Based on information that we have gathered from the CDC, Illinois Department of Public Health, and Chicago Department of Public Health we would like to ask you to refrain from participating in activities at CGA for 14 days after traveling if a member of your household is spending more than 24 hours in a known COVID-19 hotspot. This request would be extended to all members of your household who participate in classes at CGA. We feel this will help minimize the spread of potential cases in our community. The states that are currently considered hotspots are as follows –
As of 7/30/20 - Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin
This information will be published on our website, and updated weekly to reflect any updates in this ever-changing situation.
In the event that a member of your household is traveling to one of these hotspots and will be observing a 14-day holding period from CGA, we would be happy to pro-rate your fees in the form of a credit to your CGA account that can be used for future classes, etc. In this case, we ask that you notify us of your travel plans beforehand so we can make the appropriate billing adjustments and notify your child’s coach(es) of their absence. For rec students, please notify firstname.lastname@example.org. For team students, please notify email@example.com.
We truly appreciate your effort to make these considerations for our gymnasts, families, and coaches at CGA. Thank you for your continued support.
