COVID-19 Travel Policy

Effective 1/4/21

In an effort to continue promoting safety and wellness for our gymnasts, families, and coaches we have put together some guidelines for post-travel participation at CGA. We understand that the choice to travel is yours, but feel that we must do our part to keep our community as safe and healthy as possible. It is our preference that you do not return to classes at CGA for 10 days after returning from travel - especially if you utilized airfare, visited a popular vacation destination, or were regularly around others outside your household.

Based on CDC guidelines, we would like to ask you to refrain from participating in activities at CGA for up 14 days after traveling. Please see the following excerpt from the CDC website about their recommended post-travel guidelines -

After You Travel

You may have been exposed to COVID-19 on your travels. You may feel well and not have any symptoms, but you can still spread the virus to others. You and your travel companions (including children) may pose a risk to your family, friends, and community after your travel.

  • Consider getting tested with a viral test 3–5 days after your trip and reduce non-essential activities for a full 7 days after travel, even if your test is negative. If you don’t get tested, consider reducing non-essential activities for 10 days.
  • If your test is positiveisolate yourself to protect others from getting infected.

If you are planning to observe a holding period from activies at CGA, we would be happy to pro-rate your fees in the form of a credit to your CGA account that can be used for future classes, etc. In this case, we ask that you notify us of your travel plans beforehand so we can make the appropriate billing adjustments and notify your child’s coach(es) of their absence. For rec students, please notify For team students, please notify

We truly appreciate your effort to make these considerations for our gymnasts, families, and coaches at CGA. Thank you for your continued support.
