"The gym owner and coaches are extremely passionate about gymnastics and are top notch. As a competitive gymnast for 20 years I understand that gymnastics can teach you a lot of things besides just physical skills like strength, flexibility, hand eye coordination, and endurance. The thing I like most about this gym is its mission to go above and beyond coaching gymnastics to teach kids a hard work ethic, good self-esteem, sportsmanship, and self-discipline. The tutoring program and adult gymnastics class are also two great programs that I don't see at many other gyms. There's no better gym in the area!" - Brian H., via Yelp

"This gym is great. The coaches here are excellent, and you can tell they really care about their gymnasts. Plus, it is obvious that they have a passion for the sport. I would highly recommend this gym. The quality of coaching my daughter is receiving here is outstanding." - Rebecca G.

"My son had his first class this week. He said it was awesome and couldn't wait for it to be Tuesday again! This from the kid that refuses to play any sport :" - Jenny R.

20 Reasons Your Pre-Schooler Should Do Gymnastics (That Have Nothing to Do with Learning Gymnastics)

  1. Separation. Learning to leave your parent or caregiver in the lobby while you go into class is the beginning of learning how to separate before a child goes to school. The ability to adjust to new situations is an important part of a preschoolers’ education.
  2. Following directions. Gymnastics teaches kids to follow multi-stepped directions. Going around the obstacle course and remember what to do at each station is far more than gymnastics training.
  3. Following safety rules. Listening to the rules of how we keep ourselves safe in the gym helps children learn how to follow rules at home and school. It places an importance on the concept of personal safety that is relevant for life.

"... Both of my girls absolutely loved their first class Saturday. I was surprised at how organized and good Miss Ashley was with all the kids. We are looking forward to a fun fall of classes. Thank you!" - Erin H.

"This gym recently opened and is proving to be a wonderful addition to the town.  The instructors are passionate about gymnastics and the kids they coach.  You can tell they truly love what they do."

"The facility is beautiful with a huge lobby for parents and siblings to hang out and a spacious viewing area.  My older daughter has no interest in competing and CGA has provided her with a place she can excel at gymnastics without the pressure that comes with competition.  I also love that they cater to all ages so my preschooler and eight year old can take classes at one gym.  I recently found out they even offer adult gymnastics!  We are so happy to be part of the CGA family.  Keep up the good work." - Mary S.

"I am really happy to see what gymnastics is doing for [my daughter]. It is already giving her more self confidence and she is very proud to show off/explain the new skills she is learning (which makes me so happy I can’t even begin to tell you). We have tried for years to find the sport that would be good for her and I think it is safe to say we have found it! [Her brother] plays every sport imaginable and I feel like he always gets to “talk about his sporting accomplishments” – and now Gwen does too!" - Sam S.
